Review highlights
Based on 1,156 reviewsRestaurant Emporium in Lecci consistently receives high praise for its exceptional culinary offerings, blending French and Mediterranean flavors with creative presentation. Guests often highlight the quality and freshness of the ingredients, noting the intricate and generous portions. The service is frequently described as attentive and friendly, though the lack of an English menu is mitigated by helpful staff. The restaurant’s ambiance, while charming, can be affected by Corsica’s warm midday heat due to the absence of air conditioning. Popular demand means early reservations are recommended to avoid wait times. Overall, Restaurant Emporium is regarded as a standout dining destination, offering a memorable and refined experience that appeals to both locals and visitors alike.
Excellent food well served. The starters were outstanding; I highly recommend the “Carpaccio de Poulpe.” We struggled to finish the main course, mainly due to the 40-degree heat today, as it can get quite hot at lunchtime in Corsica and the area is shaded but not air conditioned… adds to the experience. I highly recommend this restaurant for a refreshing change from the usual local spots, whether family-owned or not, which often serve the same classics.
The food is absolutely stunning, and the servers were helpful and pleasant. There is no English menu, but the servers will help you choose. For a full meal with an appetizer, main, dessert and some drinks it was about 160€ for two people. I recommend getting in early as it fills up really fast and some tables seemed to wait a bit for their food. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The best food experience we had in Corsica. Starters, main courses and desserts all had an interesting mix of flavours and were beautifully presented. Went back to eat in this restaurant four times. Congratulations to the chef and the team.
Superb restaurant, certainly the best within the region. The food was excellent and the service outstanding. We have visited some of the best restaurants in the world and this one is way up there with the best, highly recommended.
We were couple visiting from London, and having completed the rigorous GR20 hike, treated ourselves to a dinner here. The restaurant is exceptional, probably the best meal we ever had! The food was masterfully executed, using high quality fresh produce. Everything was delicious but also so intricate and super generous. We ordered the octopus starter and beef wellington - which we could hardly finish! Fresh bread & butter, table water, amuse bouche & petit fours were also supplied. Excellent value for money. The staff deserve special mention - we did not have a booking, and our French is not great, but they were all superb. Hard working, pleasant and very professional - I wish London had waitstaff like this! The ambience is also very nice - low key quiet luxury. Easy access via a ramp too - great for elderly or immobile people or for GR20 survivors Thank you for a wonderful memory.
The restaurant is one of the best I have visited over the last few years. Expectations were surpassed. The restaurant is very beautifully designed. The food is absolutely well cooked. It’s a class in its own right. In fact, it is so good that we decided to make a second reservation on our first evening there to go and eat there again. In total, we had four main platters and four desserts, which were all absolutely perfect and well made. The waitresses and waiters are very professional and nice. The sommelier knows exactly which wine goes best with which meal. If we had spent more time in the area, we would have definitely visited a third time.
The Beef Wellington was exceptional—perfectly cooked and full of rich flavor. Each bite was a delight, especially when paired with the creamy truffle mashed potatoes and a robust glass of local red wine. A truly harmonious and indulgent dining experience
